9. Are there age or weight restrictions on your activities?
Yes, for safety reasons, each activity has specific requirements. You can see the details on each tour's page, but here are the highlights:
Canopy Tour: The waist harness must fit a maximum of 42 inches and the leg harness a maximum of 26 inches. You must be 1.40 m (55 inches) tall to do the full tour. Children between 1.10 m and 1.39 m (42 to 54 inches) tall can do a partial version with 5 zip lines, skipping most hanging bridges.
ATV Tour: The minimum age to drive is 14. Minimum age to be a passenger, it's 3 years old.
Horseback Riding: The minimum age to ride alone is 7, a 3-year-old can ride with an adult. The weight limit per horse is 260 lbs.
All participants under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian to sign a liability waiver in all experiences.
10. What kind of clothing should I wear?
For all adventure activities (Canopy, ATV, Horseback Riding), comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended. While sandals or flip-flops are permitted, they may be very uncomfortable for the activities. Barefoot is not allowed for safety reasons. We also recommend wearing sunscreen.
11. What should I do with my belongings (backpacks, etc.) during activities?
You can securely store your belongings in our complimentary lockers, which are available at all of our activity areas (except La Troja Buffet). Please do not leave your bags in the van, as your return transportation may be a different vehicle from the one you arrived in. This ensures your belongings stay safe and with you throughout your time at Las Cañadas Campamento.
12. What does the buffet at La Troja Restaurant include?
Our buffet includes an all-you-can-eat meal and unlimited non-alcoholic beverages. The menu varies by time:
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Breakfast (scrambled eggs, hot cakes, omelettes, hashbrowns, etc.).
12:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Tacos (carne asada, al pastor, cochinita pibil, shrimp, or our famous Ensenada fish tacos). Alcoholic beverages and mixology are available for purchase separately.
13. Can I use other campground facilities, like the Wave Pool or the Paddle Boats?
You may enjoy some of our other facilities at no extra cost: the lake with paddle boats, hiking and walking areas, and a visit to our farm.
However, it is important to consider:
Time is limited: If you have booked 3 or 4 experiences, your schedule will be very tight. If you decide to use these facilities and miss any of your reserved activity time, it will not be refundable.
Water activities: Our Wave Pool, traditional pools, slide, and interactive fountain are not included in your package. Access to these requires purchasing a general admission ticket. Furthermore, you will not be allowed to board our transportation back to the cruise terminal if you are wet.
14. What if I miss the cruise ship because my tour is delayed?
Your peace of mind is our highest priority. In the extremely rare event that you miss your cruise departure due to a delay caused by our service, we will take full responsibility for arranging and covering all expenses for your lodging, meals, and transportation to rejoin your ship at its next port of call.
